Creating good work for all
I am passionate about everyone having access to good work that is fullfilling and suited to their needs.

Whether you are an individual looking for support or an company wanting to do better for your employees, I can help you implement changes that make your workplace a happier one.

I set up Affirm Coaching and Assessment to get us all a step closer to fullfilling, decent work.

As an ADHDer, there have definitely been moments in my career where I have found things tough, but overall I had the good fortune to work for some great managers who recognised my potential, if they just let me work in my own way. They probably didn't know it at the time, but they were letting me craft my job role to make it fit the way I needed to work. They directed me into roles that played to my strength and everyone benefited.

Don't get me wrong, there has been a good deal of self development in the process, but without identifying the right workplace it wouldn't have been possible. Would Usain Bolt be a world champion if someone decided he was going to be a swimmer or a high jumper instead of a runner?

But it is not just neurodivergent individuals who need help to find their place. I've had many conversations with people who have burnt out of successful careers that thought it could have been avoided with some simple changes.
How can we help
Good work doesn't happen by accident and bad work isn't always deliberate. Generally jobs have evolved to be the way they are without much thought or deliberate design.

I am here to change that.

With a little bit of thought we can adapt the workplace to best suit the individuals working in them, and the best thing is it doesn't have to cost the earth.
